Call for Writers & Reviewers:
The English Language Arts Network (ELAN), in conjunction with the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Education Association Ontario (FNMI-EAO) invite applications for writers and reviewers to develop lesson plans and supporting materials for the upcoming curriculum for English: Contemporary First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Voices – Grade 11 University Preparation (NBE3U), Grade 11 College Preparation (NBE3C) or Grade 11 Workplace Preparation (NBE3E).
We are seeking writers and reviewers from both subject associations.
In order to build our capacity with and understanding of this new curriculum as widely as possible, we are providing opportunities for individuals to write one or more lessons for either of the courses, and/ or a series of 6 connected lessons/ unit for a particular course. We will also be hiring 3 reviewers – one to work with each course writing team.
All writers and reviewers must have current Ontario College of Teachers Certification.
For further information about the project, details on how to apply, a sample lesson proposal and template as well as a sample lesson, please see the attached files below:
