E-LANguage is published by the English Language Arts Network, Ontario, Canada. It is devoted to the teaching of English, Language Arts, and Media at all levels from Kindergarten to Grade 12, with the intention of providing English educators, with a reviewed journal of opinion, research, and practical ideas for the classroom.

At time of launch, we are strictly an on-line publication.

We offer the following as suggestions concerning types of submissions.

The Classroom

Teaching Plans with:

• an expectation, outcome or result
• the teaching plan in sufficient detail for the uninitiated
• resources (e.g. reproducibles)
• assessment tools.

Reviews

• of Web Sites
• of new literature for contemporary classrooms
• of professional literature

Commentary

• on issues of interest to educators.

Hypertexts

• Experiment with the genre's ability to connect various texts on line, or within your own submission.

The Commonplace

• Traditionally, writers used a Commonplace Book to record inspirational or provocative ideas - brief quotable things and references. Please remember to submit a short introduction and complete reference information.

Submissions that have been published elsewhere must come with full permission to re-publish.
