ELAN will hold 4 one
day long meetings during the 2008 /09 school year. Half of each meeting
is given to professional development. The business meeting frequently
includes reports from MET, EQAO, and other organizations with which we
network.
Meetings are generally organized as follows:
-Coffee and browsing of handouts
at 9 a.m. (or earlier)
-Meetings start at 9:30 a.m.
-Professional Growth presentation
-Networking lunch (cost is usually about $10)
-ELAN reports and business
-Reports from the Ministry, from EQAO, from curriculum writing groups,
or from other agencies with whom we are working.
-Meetings finish at 3 p.m.
No registration is required for these meetings. Arrange your own 'stpdl' and come on out.
We endeavour to ensure that members who are not at the meetings receive print materials in the mail. When possible we will also post the material on this site.
